How to pay for LLM APIs in Korean won (KRW)

Payment methods, fee structure, exchange-rate basis.

To pay for LLM APIs in Korean won, sign up for PleumRouter and top up KRW prepaid credits. You charge a domestic card (single installment) — no foreign card or overseas business account needed — and usage across providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, …) is settled from one credit balance. The minimum top-up is 5,000 credits.

Who needs this

Typical users are Korean developers and teams who find it hard to pay OpenAI, Anthropic and other overseas providers directly with foreign cards. It also suits anyone who wants to consolidate per-provider billing into KRW and keep it tax-invoice ready.

Payment method and top-up flow

Sign-up requires no card. Top up credits from the dashboard using a domestic card (single installment). Credits are deducted per successful model call; failed calls are never billed (the estimated-cost hold is released in full on failure).

Fixed-price credit packs are also available — see [object Object].

Fee structure (live values)

Current fees: model markup 0%, platform fee on credit top-ups 3%, and FX markup on KRW conversion 0.5%. Fees may change with operating policy, with advance notice.

The exact formula is published in the [object Object]; the exchange rate refreshes daily at 09:00 KST based on the customs rate published by the Export-Import Bank of Korea.

Tax invoices and business accounts

Electronic tax invoices for business members are in preparation. Korean National Tax Service business verification can be completed in advance and will apply as soon as issuance begins.

Limits and cautions

  • Prepaid only — no postpaid billing.
  • Top-ups use cards (single installment); see the current support list for other methods.
  • Refunds of unused credits follow the refund policy.
  • KRW amounts follow the daily reference rate, not the rate at the moment of top-up.
